R1200 RT luggage rack

HELP! I know it's been posted before, and I just spent a few hours searching, but has anyone come up with a luggage RACK for the current RT (2005+)? I don't want to cover the rear seat, I want to "expand and reinforce" the luggage rack area on the rear of my RT. There are obviously many options to overlay the luggage rack on the GS but I haven't found a single product to expand the rack for the RT. Has anyone discovered such a product?

I've also been looking for a luggage rack that would replace my passenger seat. There is one for the GS but it does not fit the RT. I never ride with a passenger and would like a flat sturdy surface to use for camping gear.

If you don't mind losing access to your rear seat this BMR rack is an excellent product. It is easily removeable but you can not use your rear seat while the rack is installed.

BMR Rack - expensive

Well, it probably is quite nice, but too expensive for me. Over the winter, I might see what I can devise.

And the BMR is the closest he's going to find and frankly a better solution.

The BEST thing to "overlay" the rear rack is a 49l topbox.

There is a rack on eBay UK that looks applicable. They ship to North America. It is listed under auction # 110788742016.

I have no interest in this other than it seems to be what the OP is looking for.
