R1150R Panniers Size and Weight

I need a bit of help. I have an opportunity to purchase a set of original BMW panniers for my 2004 R1150R. To determine shipping I need the dimensions and the weight of the cases. Would someone who has them provide those measurements and the empty weight of each, please? I would truly appreciate it.

Thanks!

I would think the sender needs to box them up and get the shipping cost. That's how I sell items.

That would be the standard way, I agree. :) The seller is not able to handle the packaging and shipping himself, so I am checking on using a shipping service that picks up the items, boxes them up, and then ships them. However, that requires size and weight, thus the question.

After posting last night I found another set I purchased via eBay. I think they are in good shape from judging by the pictures, but who knows. I may still end up purchasing the ones from the other seller needing help with the shipping. I'll have the dimensions and weight from the set I just ordered so can figure that out myself.

All that to say, thanks for taking the time to respond. I think I have it handled for the time being.

And for good measure, once I have the panniers here, I'll post a follow-up with the size and weight so this might be helpful to others.

Allow 11 lbs per case + the weight of the box
A box size of 22"x17"x15" would allow for some packing - 2 required.
