Hi All! New to the forum.
My son got BMW 2005 R1100S BCR from me. He may have an issue with shifting. At times, it is hard to shift to 1st from neutral.
He is stationed in Augusta Georgia.
Would any one know of a reliable and knowledgeable mechanic/service shop in the area?
I serve my own bikes but it is hard to help him from Wisconsin!
I cannot tell if it is a developing mechanical issue or rider induced issue. This is his first bike!

Any help will be very appreciated!!!!

Boxer Works is located vicinity of Athens, Georgia but they can refer him to someone closer by. The number to call is 706 310 0699.

Welcome to both of you! I was wondering about Boxerworks, so good idea to make a few calls. Being on the eastern border of Georgia, there might be places in South Carolina, maybe Columbia?? BMW of Columbis is there... https://www.bmwofcolumbia.com/
