I am losing vision in one eye and have just sold my last BMW. The shipping company wants the gas tank drained.

How do I drain it?

Kbasa is probably right with the siphon. Even with the fuel pump plate out and the gas cap assembly removed, you can't get all the gas out without dabbing the remainder with a paper towel.

When we had a bike shipped across the country, the drop-off dealer drained the tank for us. Maybe you can set up your ship departure point at a dealer, and have them do it.
