R100gspd Oil pan

Greetings everyone,
My 1995 R100 GSPD has the oil pan with the drain plug toward the rear, not on the bottom. It is my understanding that this one is about an inch deeper than the pan with the plug on the bottom. I need to find a replacement, because two of the dash plate bolt mounts have stripped out.
After a ton of searching, I’ve only found one on eBay, but it’s sold. All other searches bring up bmw part diagrams with illustrations showing the shallow pan with drain bolt in the bottom.

Guess I’m posting to see if anyone has a line on one or insight on ordering from BMW (Calimoto etc).

Anton Largiader has a section on his website related to oil pans...it might give you an idea what kind you have.

Why not just helicoil the mount holes? Another option is to pull the pan and have a welder fill the holes, then drill and tap for the correct size & thread bolts. You can use the bash plate as a template for marking the hole locations.

I did consider this. And will end up going down this road if I can’t find a replacement.

Looks like new pans are available for about $160, but I'd sure try to helicoil it first.
