Considering a Wunderlich footpeg lowering kit for a 1994 r1100rs

I am interested in lowering the footpegs on my 1994 R1100RS about 1.5-2 inches, and I'm curious if anyone here on the forum has tried the set offered by Wunderlich?

I feel like just having an extra couple of inches would do wonders for my overall comfort.

I'm then left with the question of if I would have to try and source different rear brake and gear shifter levers, or is there enough adjustment in them to be able to make them work?

Thank you!

You can use R11GS foot peg brackets of the same era if you're looking for an alternative to the Wunderlich stuff.

Since my knees have been bothering me a bit when riding my 94 R1100RS (purchased new) I ordered these Wunderlich America vario pivot footpegs. I called the folks at Wunderlich America. After a brief discussion I opted for the 30 mm peg adapters. The total price including tax and shipping was around $460, but I would like to get a few more years riding with the R1100RS and these footpegs may make that possible.

I also asked about Boxer2Valve discontinuing doing machine / service work on BMW bikes. This was confirmed and a few folks were recommended for machine / service work; these folks are:

Randy Long in Pa 610-286-5870

TrophyMoto in Greenville, SC 864-380-5081

I also use the Suburban Machinery kit. Best move I ever made relative to aches and pains.
I also installed the Illium Works adjustable brake lever.
The gear shift lever falls into place and no changes were necessary..

This is all on my K1600
