R100GS Windscreen

I have tried many screens on my 1989 R100GS. This is the "old style" with the bikini fairing. Have gone back to that original because the screen I had was too heavy. Am thinking of a light bar-mounted screen like the Givi 620. Has anyone tried such a fit, or have other suggestions. I have both the stock clock and the tach, if that is relevant.
