Managed to find this older thread but about installing 5-series horns. Might want to see what was done back then just FYI.

I have installed the BMW 5-Series Car horn on both my GS and RT and love it. So easy. I have 2 buddies who are new RS owners and I suggested the same horn upgrade to them but wanted to check if anyone else has done this on an RS?? Thanks in advance.
Bernie ... there are 2 horns that folks are using ... the BMW OEM part # is 61338381271 and there is an aftermarket one that is less made by Clarton. I used the OEM BMW horn in both my bikes and it was about $59. The aftermarket horn is about $25. I wanted to be safe and when with the BMW OEM item. Even though it is a car part any BMW motorcycle dealer can order it for you. My dealer here in Charlotte actually keeps them in stock. I bet Randy would bring one to Blairsville for you
Here is the link for the aftermarket horn
