Question for a Member who has installed Verholen bar risers.

I am looking to purchase and install the MV Verholen #4901-90028F bar risers on my F800GT and would like to know from someone who has done this installation. I have read that: The throttle cable needs to be re-routed so it is behind the triple tree tube rather than in front, but does anything on the left side of handle bars need to be moved to the rear side of tube, or can the left side clutch cable and wiring harness stay as they are?

After installing the brake line extension on the bottom of handle bar master cylinder, is it just bleeding the brake line to the front calipers a straight forward deal, like on most of the older motorcycles? Or does this brake bleeding procedure get into the ABS system where a dealer needs to hook up factory equipment to make this brake bleeding done where the ABS is not affected, and I will have trouble?

I checked with a BMW dealer on install and the quote was $350.00 labor. I thought this was too much, unless this is really a tough procedure. I have done all my own general maintenance in the past on my motorcycles, but I don't want to mess my bike up either.

Thanks for any help.

I had my dealer install the MV risers last year by my dealer. Labor $179.00. Only the throttle cable needs rerouting. No issues with the clutch cable. I did not watch the tech, so not sure on the brake bleed, but there is plenty of information on the F800 forum on this mod.
