Possibly the ride of a lifetime

I just got back from an Edelweiss Extreme Alps tour. There were three or four MOA members in the group. Great guys. I have never seen scenery like the Austrian Alps or the Italian Dolomites. Whether it is riding the switchbacks on the Passo di Stelvio or blasting down big sweepers at 140 km/h next to a glacier-fed mountain stream I doubt I will ever have a riding experience like that again. But, I will try.
If you deserve it, and I'm sure you do, treat yourself with a trip to the Alps. You won't regret it.

...treat yourself with a trip to the Alps. You won't regret it.

I know, been riding there 21 years straight and I still feel the same way now as I did the first year. :)

I always wanted to share the experience with friends and sure enough, one of them that I play tour guide to, came along four out of the last six years.

There is no reason why you can't go back.

I completed The classic alpine tour, two weeks, with Beach's Motorcycle Adventures in July/August 2015. Amazing trip, great hotels, nice to have someone look after the breakfast, dinners and Sherpa the bags. Beach's did a amazing job, I would certainly recommend them to everyone. I rode a brand-new R 1200 GS, something I wanted to do since my main ride is an RT.

I too count my trip to the Alps in '10 as "trip of a lifetime". We (wife and I 2-up) did it unguided, 13 days. We setup base in Hinterthal, Austria, Arabba, Italy, and Garmisch, Germany. Wife took over 3000 pictures!
