2 bikes for sale one with 89k, one with 128k. all original mechanically. which one would you choose? same year. priced within 1k of each other. thanks greg
 
The one with the lowest miles so you can put the 100K on the odometer :dance
 
I do not...

...understand the dilemma. 40K miles is easily worth an extra K in my book as long as they are mechanically identical. Unless you have clear evidence that there were maintenance issues with the lower mileage unit.
 
Do they both have service records?I don't mind buying higher-mileage vehicles, but I'm always asking myself what kinds of repairs the money I'd save might be going toward. I'd say the MTBF of a major component is probably not that different for either bike, assuming each was treated well.
