Ohlins? Wilbers? or WP?

Wilbers shocks

I put Wilbers shocks on my R1200C this summer. Very nice, especially when carrying a passenger.

Of course, with so many adjustments available, I could spend months twiddling with the dials.

Click here for some photos and notes about the installation

Wilbers Shocks

"Supposely they all could come with adjustable ride height +/- 1/2 inch. both front and rear shock. high/low speed seperate damping adjustments are available as options on rear shock, that's something that no one else offers. "

Ride height adjustment & hydraulic preload adj. are options on the Wilber rear shocks ordered w/hi/lo speed compression adj. The basic shock which is the unit supplied for the front of all oilheads comes with 22 click rebound & manual preload adj. only. Any of the shocks can be built lower or taller but if the shock is lowered too much there may not be room for the options. The ride height adj. will give you 3-4mm either way at the shock which amounts to 8-10mm at the rear wheel on an R1100S. If anyone wants more info on the Wilbers feel free to email me with questions.
