New member in Phoenix

Hi, I just recently joined and finally have gotten around to posting. I've riding a 2018 R 1200 RT for close to 3 years now and love it. The only way I'd be getting rid of it is when age says I need something lighter to ride. I'm also seeming to find some other farkle to add even after I say, that was the last one. I'm past retirement age but I'm continuing to work. The job pays well and helps pay for my next unplanned farkle. I'm a native Arizonan and for some reason ended up working for the US Antarctic Program for a number of years. I guess I like to go from one extreme to the other. I guess I'll catch up with you all latter as I spend time exploring the forum.

Greetings Señor Steven with your 3-yr old RT in sunny AZ {from two Alabama Sun Devils touring Europe at the moment}.

Eventually, you'll just have to pull the plug on Antarctica and get serious about riding to other corners of the world. That RT is meant to "tour;" it needs you to pick a direction... We ferry to Rostock, DE in the morning from Trelleborg, SE and take a train to Berlin. Hasta la vista...
