New K12GT Oil Overfill?

My friend just took delivery of a new K12GT, and yes, I'm green with envy. We were out breaking it in when he waved me over. The panel read Oil check. We checked the oil and the dipstick was almost completely covered i.e. overfilled. We could visualize the oil nearly filling the well. Any thoughts? I suggested that he get back to the dealer, pronto.

No Dipstick!

I don't think, does it? My K has a window on the right side...Never check cold and only when fully warmed engine, do I check for accuracy after a 5 minute stop. You'll get very bad readings from a cold motor, through the sight glass, unless it has sat overnight and its stone cold.
