Mixing a Pilot Road 4 GT tire and a Pilot Road 4 tire on 2011 R1200RT

The front tire of my R1200RT needed to be replaced so wanting to support my local independent dealer I ordered a new Pilot Road 4 GT tire. A few days later I received a call saying tire was in, so I pulled off wheel and took in for installation. When I got home with the installed tire I noticed the tire wasn't the GT version of PR4.
I understand the GT version of the tire is designed for our heavier sport touring bikes. I plan to return to dealer and have a chat with them but I'm looking for advice on if mixing these two versions of Pilot Road tires would be an issue.

I don't think mixing two versions is the issue. Whether the tire which is mounted meets the load requirements for the bike is issue #1, and why they mounted a different tire than ordered issue #2. Load capacity is the big issue as I see it.

I've been running the PR series tires (4, 5 and now 6) with standard version front and the GT version on the rear with no issues on my 2006 ST1200. Best of all worlds IMHO
