Maintenance with Touratech engine crash bars

I’m interested in fitting the Touratech crash bars to my 2018 R1200RT and would like to know if they have to be removed for an oil change, valve maintenance I understand, but do they interfere with oil filter and drain plug access? If I can get at the oil filter but need to machine a hole in the skid plate to get the drain plug out that would not be a problem.

Thanks
Brian

I have the TT front engine guards on my '17 RTW. There is a hole in the skid plate for access to the oil drain plug.

FWIW, with AltRider crash bars you can check valves without removing them. Hopefully the TT ones are the same.
