Los Angeles - Need good mechanic

I bought my first BMW last fall and need some minor issues resolved. Some of it sounds common to the 1998 K1200rs: fan doesn't work, rear running light / indicator goes on / off and I have a bit of an oil leak around the head.

Anybody have someone they trust in LA, preferably in the SFV?

Thanks.

I've also heard good things about the Newberry Park dealership; Brown's is out of the way for the San Fernando Valley and I have heard very mixed reports about them for many years - some people love them, some don't... There's also Long Beach BMW, and West Valley Cycle (probably the closest to you, if walking is a factor).
In the L.A. area, you also have Valdi's MotoZone and Angel City Cycles; both have websites. I know Valdi is very familiar with the K12 series.

One More Recommendation.

I trust Irv Seaver in Orange, CA.

Yes, it's a ways from the valley (35 miles) but they are very good and very thorough, well stocked and have excellent mechanics that I trust completely with my bikes (yes Bikes).

They are a down-home single dealer shop that really believes in putting out excellent work.

At least give Joe Polombo (Service Manager) a call. A lot of people throughout LA insist on these guys to work on their bike.

Let them know Jim Foreman sent you.

Hi,
Try American Turbo. There is a mechanic there that owns a 98 rs. Don't know his name or have a phone number but the shop is just west of Van Nuys blvd. on Erwin or Sylvan. The owner of the shop is Harry.

Irv Seaver is great... I bought my bike from them and they've never failed to give great service.

Good luck.

I bought my bike from Irv in Orange and have been a customer at Brown. Both have provided outstanding support. I would recommend either one.
