K1100 to K100 exhaust

Anyone know if the one piece exhaust from a late 80ÔÇÖs K1100 will bolt up to the engine on a 1986 k100? IÔÇÖm not worried about the other hangers and mounting points as I can fabricate the necessary brackets.

Thanks Jeff

Ps the cat. Is not a concern as I will drain this first

If it is an exhaust from the late eighties it is from a K100, they hadn't yet made the K11's. All the K bike exhausts are two piece. The muffler and header come apart in the middle. I don't know if the header from a four valve motor fits the 2 valve motors or not. The mounting for the muffler should work for both a k-100 & a K11.
If the muffler you want to put on is round instead of the stock square one then it is from a K-11.
I am just guessing that your K100 muffler has the annoying heat shield rattle? If so you can take the heat shield off and just cut the attachment tabs off.
I still have both a stock k100 and a stock k11 exhaust up in the attic. If someone can't answer you for sure if the K11 exhaust will fit I could (but don't really wanna, my attic isn't user friendly) bring them down and do some measuring.

My bad
It is from a 93 and going on an 86

"One piece exhaust system to fit all K1004V and K100RS/LT bikes. This one is from a '93 K1100LT"

I guess the correct question would be is there any difference in a 4 valve and a 2 valve connection?

Thanks Jeff
