I went to Morton's last week, they had a black R1200R there. It was the first one I have seen in person. Wowie, wow, wow! I want one!

Most people who ride the R1200R Roadster end up buying one. I did - first brand new bike in 30 years.

I have one sitting in the Garage on loan from the dealer while my R1200GS is in for service. I put 100 miles on it coming home from the shop last week, it sure is a blast to ride! FUN FUN FUN...........

Congratulations on the new baby !

I love mine, which was like many here: I happened to drive by the dealership when they rolled it out about 2 weeks before the official release. Took a ride and spent a whole lot of money! Check out my thread on that adventure here:
