Ilium versus Wunderlich Crash Bars

I'm getting a new 2023 RT soon. I have Ilium bars on my 2017 RT. Anyone have any opinion of Ilium vs Wunderlich Engine Bars?

My 2013 R1200RT came with Wunderlich crashbars front and back (GREAT!) Unfortunately, the rear bars dug into my wife's calves as we rode. Following the happy wife, happy life mantra, I changed out the rears to Illium as they are lower, coming up only about half way on the panniers. Made her happy so I'm happy too!IMG_0551.jpg

I have the Ilium bars, and I am very happy with them. Very strong. Nice appearance. They have protected my bike from several low-speed get-offs. I have no opinion on the Wunderlich bars.

I have Ilium bars as well, i read where the Wunderlich make it harder to remove the valve cover. Read the reviews, don't take my word for it. Wunderlich makes outstanding products
