If you are receiving the Oops! We ran into some problems warning that results in a duplicate post, it’s not on your end.
Kurt and I are trying to track down the source of the message. We were able to contact a member that just experienced this which helped us confirm it’s on a more “global” scale.
Thanks for your patience.

Haven’t done a post this afternoon so can’t comment there, but I do know the “like” button on posts is throwing the same error and even when it doesn’t throw the error message it doesn’t record the “like”. FWIW.

Best,
DeVern

Thanks for letting us know.

This seems to be affecting the “Like” button as well as leaving the residual text of the post that was posted.

FYI - I have been receiving this warning more often, usually a few times a week with no rhyme or reason. I can view all new posts fine and mark them read then return later that day and click new posts and get the warning. I try clicking on any other links and still get the warning. Later that day everything returns back to normal. This seems to indicate it is not on my end. When it happens I also try on different devices with the same results. Trying all the normal procedures to clear problems on my end does not help either (log out and back in, restart browser, clear cache, reboot, etc).

We have been working on a resolution but it seems to be a rather pesky problem.

Same happening with my logins.

Hopefully all is back to a smooth normal. Our guy behind the scenes had some fairly difficult messing around and things are looking good.
Thanks TD.

Mods, I appreciate your efforts. I know how much work doing that unpaid job requires, and particularly on the IT side (e.g. been there, done that, got the battle scars 🙄🙈😁). If it's any encouragement, I took a free year of BMWMOA as a trial offer, and just extended on my own nickel for 3 years, because you folks run such a great website (and organization).

🍻👍

Thanks for the kind words. We do what we can to keep the MOA and the MOA forum running smoothly.
Thanks for re-upping on your membership. :bow
