A great victory was achieved last week end in Latina, Rome, when Husqvarna CH Racing TeamÔÇÖs factory riders Adrien and Thomas Chareyre got the podium in their respective classes.

In the S2 class French rider Adrien Chareyre was unstoppable. Although in race 1 the rider was preceded by TM rider Davide Gozzini, in heat 2 Adrien left no chance to his rival and rode under the heavy rain with no mistakes until the end of the race. Still in S2 Belgian rider from Cross 2R Husqvarna Team, G?®rald Del?®pine, had a good week end, placing his SM 530RR on 4th and 3rd place, results which maintain the rider on the third provisional place in the world championship classification.

In S1 class, Thomas Chareyre made his return to the Supermoto scenes, after the injury occurred at Mallory Park GP. Tom proved to be a natural talent, as it was only the 5th time he was riding his SM450RR. For two heats Thomas was first, leaving his number 1 rival Van Den Bosch behind. Chareyre team and classmate Mauno Hermunen completed the Husqvarna podium conquering the third place, after an outstanding performance in the two races. Still in S1 class, new entry Japanese rider Matsumoto fought the whole day against country fellow Aprilia rider Kaneko. Matsumoto, at his very first experience in the world championship, was 8th in both heats.

Next round of the Supermoto World Championship is scheduled for September 20th in Andorra, Spain.
