I am considering a k1200lt and am discovering that there are not many tire options for this monster.. Have any of you tried any z/r radials on this bike? Any clearance issues with the rear tire for larger sizes? I am a serious sidewall scrubber...

Welcome back to the forum! I see your first post goes back a few years....do you still have the Oilhead?

You might want to pose your question in the Flying Brick forum where the K1200LT and other bikes of this type are discussed. They'll probably have a better idea of these tires on this bike.
