Help with taillight bolt/screw for 2007K1200GT

I was detailing the bike yesterday and discovered the right side mounting was missing it's bolt/screw. Anyone got an idea what size screw/bolt I need to secure to get the taillight locked down solid again? It's the horizontal one under the brake light.

Something I need to get from BMW or can I secure one at a hardware store?

Thanks in advance to the wisdom this forums members possess.

Think that's something I need to get from BMW or will a hardware store have the bolt?

Thanks again for the help, you guys have all the resources.

A store with a good selection of metric bolts should work out...it's not a highly stressed fastener. I've had pretty good luck at Lowes. We have a specialty bolt/screw place in town as well. McMaster-Carr is a good source if you don't mind waiting...and potentially buying more than just one.

.

Our same town hardware store has a good selection of stainless steel metric fasteners.
They don't carry torx, so if I want a perfect match I ask the dealer to mail me a couple.

Took it to my bmw mechanic. It wasn't just missing the bolt, but the fastener female grommet it screws into. He ordered it this morning and it will be in this afternoon. I'll be there at 10am tomorrow when he opens and he'll put it back to original while I wait. Charge for the screw and grommet was 5.95, no charge to have him slide it on the bike for me.

Thanks guys.
