Hello everyone,

I finally joined the club after being a long time Kawasaki (GPz, Ninja, Vulcan, Concours, 900RS Cafe, Versys1k) owner.

Look forward to learning more about the brand & community.

Welcome to the forum!
Hope your weather is cool enough to get in some enjoyable riding.

Hallo, MKPRZ, from the Valley of Hades!

What caught your eye after so many tries on Kamasuki’s? The Motorrad Brand now comes in many flavors... I’m still enjoying my original BMW bought new at the OBE’d Glen Burnie Cycles in MD in 1975. So ya just never know where your first BMW will take you over the many decades. :brow

So, Jus Sayin, we know Phoenix, what with both of us 1983 graduates from Sun Devil Univ! How did U end up there?

Enjoy your slickest and newest Motorrad Machine - safely :bliss
Mrs-HSV just got her 200K BMW of North America certificate. Her Aunt can’t believe it...

Me, I’ve been riding quite a bit longer than the MOAL Secretary, Karen. But she did do 168K miles on her ’09 F650GS sitting on the original factory saddle. That certainly qualifies as an Iron Butt Honorable Mention in my book!

Get out there this summer, and put some biggly miles on YOUR new BMW!

Don’t forget to keep track of all your BMW Mileage - including any rentals like we used up north in Alaska in 2021 with MotoQuest (during Covid lockdown): https://www.bmwmoa.org/page/mileagecontest

Ya really never know where your future BMW ADVentures will lead U!

Welcome Mark! Glad you are here. What are you riding and (more importantly) do you have any pictures?

@HSVPhil

Phoenix is my home, born & raised. Few trips outside CONUS courtesy of Uncle Sam.
Always return back. Work for the State of Az, so covered a lot of ground and have seen most of this great State from behind a windshield in a pickup truck. The view on 2 wheels is so much better.

@langoptc

'20 GSA "Exclusive" w 10k on the odometer. Really loving it so far.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Welcome from Anthem. As a native you probably know there is not a lot of riding right now, too dang hot. If you are on FB, sign up for AZBeemers, lots of nice folks and rides when the weather cools down.

Thanks, I'll look them up.

Mark,

This Saturday the 8th, there is a meeting of the Prescott BMW guys at Panera Bread. Tom L. should be there, he's 85 and just completed the iron butt double insanity ride. I'm out of town and can't make it, but it's a nice ride up the hill through Yarnell if you want to join them.
