Hello fellow MOA members. My name is Scot Davenport and just joined MOA after researching the organization and using this resource to research my next bike, 2012 R1200RT.

I have been riding for just over 30 years but all this time I have never owned a BMW. I only recently learned of what I had been missing all these years and cannot wait to finally own this fantastic machine.

This depends on one's perspective.

Living in Hawaii I don't see myself being in the running to win the annual mileage contest but I will still log several thousand miles a year with pure riding satisfaction.

we just returned home from 4 years there - made the mistake of taking my GS with. I rode this sh*t out of a scooter though! ;-)
