Heavy R1150RT Throttle

I installed new (three) throttle cables for my R1150RTP, but still find it not as light as I like.

I tried three R1150RT's throttles on dealer's lot, they all have heavy throttle just like mine with newly installed throttle cable. The new R1200RT on the dealer have very light throttle. Since they are no new R1150RT I can get my hands on. I don't know this is normal or not.

I replaced all the cables on my '04 RT @ 50k mi. The cables I removed looked fine. The throttle felt exactly the same after the cable and Bowden Box replacement.

I saved the parts as spares.

It felt like firctional resistance rather than from strong throttle springs. But it maybe related to throttle springs.

I hate to ask this, but could you have pinched one putting the tank back on?

My throttle is quite heavy as well. It seems like a normal thing on 1150RT's. I use a Throttle Miester when highway cruising.

IÔÇÖve ridden an ÔÇÖ02 RT for the last 50,000 miles, but it wasnÔÇÖt until I rented and put 1400 miles on an ÔÇÖ07 R1200GS that I truly understood how heavy my RTÔÇÖs throttle is. Now IÔÇÖm looking at lightening mine up. My first though was could it be as simple as using the R1200GS throttle cables or springs?
