Headlight stays on 2000 R1100R

I have a 2000 where the light stays on when you shut down. Even if you remove the key. I am not seeing any relay in the fuse/relay box. Ideas?

The symtoms you describe points to a sticky load relief relay. Swap it with the horn relay (same type)
A sharp rap with a screwdriver handle will usually release them when stuck.
This happens on higher mileage machines.
Chances are that will fix the issue.
Replacements are under $20 at the dealer.

I swapped out with the horn relay. We will see if the intermittent problem goes away. Got one coming so I don't have to worry about the horn not turning off :)

Thanks again to everyone for chipping in and helping. Now I need to put a mechanical pressure gauge on the oil port to see if I am getting false warnings. Then on to the R1100RS to figure out the low fuel light not working . The a drive shaft on my R1200C.

Lots to do for the spring and plenty of time to do it. Should have retired sooner
