Greetings from a Beemer Convert

Taffy

Taffy
Hello all, newbie here from Western North Carolina. I've been a Honda owner all of my life (Trail 70, Honda 100, two Goldwings, and a Shadow). Decided to move into the world of Beemers with a 2008 R1200 LT. Lots to learn. Looking forward to the collaboration. Can't wait to break it in on the Blue Ridge Pkwy and through the Smoky Mountains to Pigeon Forge.

Taffy.

Welcome to the forum, Taffy! Enjoy the ride and show us some pictures along the Blue Ridge Parkway when you get a chance! :thumb

Welcome.

We live in Haywood County.

Great riding around here, eh?

Willkommen Taffy from the Space Capital of the Universe!
Hope that your new-2-U Beemer delivers many Miles & Smiles in your neck of the Smokies. Also hope you got a good buy on your Lite Truck! :laugh

As I said elsewhere {on the Feed}, I like beads to circulate air & blood. They might help your future eXtended travels.

And U might consider adding some LED lites. You’ll find ideas in your next copy of the Owners’ News. Conspicuity is something to appreciate with all the distracted drivers out there. {That said, it didn’t help me one iota when I suddenly encountered the back door on an inattentive 82 year old Oldsmobile driver on my ’03 LT.}

Stay safe out there, and wave as U go by! We will too. :wave

Happy Trails whenever U can - Ciao!
