Grab Rail and Back Rest question

Ok I have a question and I was surprised I couldnt find the answer on the forum... but maybe I am looking in the wrong place.

I want to put a grab rail on my 75/5 so my wife can ride with me a bit easier. My bike is a SWB- so are the grab rails for the SWB /5s different from the ones on a LWB /5? I have heard both yes and no...

I might put a backrest on the back but want some options. If I am riding solo with the backrest will the bike handle a lot differntly? I am trying to keep this bike as original as possible and I know the backrest is after market... is the grab rail after market as well?

Thanks guys!

I replaced the grab rail on my /7 with a back rest made by Reynolds...you can see what they look like here:

I like the looks of it...seems to fit the styling of the bike to my eye. But a back rest like this will really have little to no effect on the handling of the bike. What will affect the handling if you decide to bungee something like a tent or sleeping bag to the back rest which then acts like a big sail...it catches some wind. But the back rest by itself will not effect anything.
