Gerbings Jacket

I love my heated jacket. It has extended my riding season considerably. Problem is the connector from the jacket to the controller has a broken wire. With the help of a zip-tie, it still works but I'd like to replace the connector. I've just finished browsing about 180,000 items on Amazon and didn't see the connector listed. Does anyone know where I might be able to find the right connector? If I have to I'll swap both male & female connectors but I'd prefer to use the original type. Any input is appreciated.

Yes and they were not helpful.

No need to jury-rig something with different ends. These are coax connectors.

No 100% sure if you are referring to the connector end, leading from the jacket, being damaged or the extension wiring end. Presuming it is the connector end (male coax) on the jacket itself, than you would need to fix that either at the connector itself or splicing in a new male coax connector.

Got it fixed.

I found a spare connector in my box of bits, that came with the jacket (and pants - now there's a plus on a cold day!) soldered it, shrink-wrapped it and tested it. Yay! Picture one: old connector, picture two, new.

The tape buttons up it nicely.

In case anyone is interested, a former R&D manager from Gerbing's has opened up a repair service. The place is heatedclothingrx.com. The guy's name is Cupid Roberts and he knows his stuff. He repairs just about every brand of heated clothing.
