I like this tube to tubeless method. I have used a lot of 3M 5200. 5200 is an incredible adhesive. I have contemplated something like this for the F800GS. I was thinking of using one of my favorite sealing tape Eternabond-

I have used Eternabond for many things both recommended and not even thunk of with great success.

Looks straight forward, although tedious. My one question is, what happens when I have to tighten a few spokes? It remains flexible. I wonder if it would tear the adhesive and cause a leak, or if the movement required to tighten a spoke is small enough to just flex it? I like the eternabond tape idea.

I guess I'm going to find out. Seems like it shouldn't be too hard to cut through the tape, remove sealant, tighten the offending spoke, re-spray with contact cleaner, reglue, and then tape over the area. Time will tell.

Never had loose spokes on street bikes. Woods/trail bikes that took a pounding- yeah.

May just be able to tighten the spoke, and the tape ensures no leaks.
