Did I put the proper Lithium Battery in a 1978 R100RS?

I'm not a wrench and may not have researched well enough before I bought a Shorai LFX14A2-BS12 lithium battery.
12V 14A/HR 210CCA Max charge rate 14A.

My question...is the bike charging system of 30ish amps too much for the battery?

The bike is only ridden in the summer months.

Don't know much about them...not much written in recent ON by Matt. Snowbum has a page that discusses them:

He only discusses the LiFePO4 types...he says that the others have fire potential.
