Daytona bike week ?

A friend who rents a house in Daytona for bike week called me , he had a sudden cancellation and asked if i wanted the spot. I took it and will be riding down from NC. on Tuesday morning, should be there by mid day on Wednesday.

Wondered if anyone is going down there for the week ??

I used to go every year back in my racing days but lost interest in the crowd and the noise so i have not been for several years.

Is there anything new to see ???

Constantly changeing. This year Motus will be at Daytona BMW on thursday and friday with their new bikes. Looking forward to that. Then flat track at the road race speedway. It's not at the municipal stadium anymore. Will be at the Holiday travel park with lots of other riders.

Just got home, rode straight through with only a few stops for food and necessary.

Bike has developed a strange knock in the drive line. The BMW riders i was with have suggested it sounds like a bad drive shaft U joint.
According to the parts fisch it is not rebuildable.
So I am afraid it's going to get ugly expensive, if so the bike may go away.
