clutch problems

I'm a new member today and need some help. I have a 1993 R100R. I rode my bike for over two hours for the first time. The shifting just quit on me and the clutch lever did nothing. I had to leave the bike at some ones house and picked it up the next morning. Every thing was ok then. I rode it home. I changed the oil in the transmission thinking over heating was the problem. I have made sure the free play is ok and it still bumps when I change gears. Before I would take it apart and check the clutch disk has any one had this problem. It's a dry clutch and it seem that heat is a problem the more I ride. Thanks

Airhead Post

You need to post this question in the Airhead forum. But include more information about the bike, such as mileage, how much maitenance you have done and when, type of adjustment you have made. Have you checked the Airhead website? We will help you out. Are you familiar with Boxerwerks in Athens, GA?
