Check the intake clamps

I was washing my bike 2 nights ago and noticed the tell tale stain of leaking fuel around the intake fuel injection thingee (technical term) on the left side
So I grabbed a screw driver and the left side was very loose. Checked the right side and it was a bit loose also but didn't apear to have leaked.
Seems to start a bit better when cold but the motor still pings when I roll on from 80 MPH or so, running the highest octane offered at the local gas stations.
Only 2800 miles so far, picked up the bike on July 2nd and haven't been able to take any time off yet so I'll work on putting some miles on this Fall. :)
