Blue Ridge Parkway

We're headed to the National and want to ride part of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

So we're were planning on getting on around Mile Marker 280, headed south to the just south of SMNP.

IF we can get on the Parkway, is it good to the end, or is it just some of the access roads that are an issue?

You are best to check on the BRPW website for closures for the sections you intend to ride. Last I looked, there are still several Helene related closures.

You will definitely want to watch that site. Use Google maps superior visual contrast and up to the minute closure data to do the heavy lifting (finding and reviewing the roads you want to use) then plot it out on REVER or something like it.
