Does anyone know why some BMW cars have the black and white BMW emblem instead of the standard blue and white emblem? Do they come from the factory that way custom? I live in Florida and see quite a few BMW's (cars) with these emblems????? Just curious....:bikes

I have seen in a BMW car magazine that sells after market items for all BMW cars, decals that you can put over the origional roundel. They come in Black, Red, and carbon fiber. That might of been what you saw.

Black BMW Emblem

Thanks, That makes sense. I just thought that possibly BMW made some "special" emblems for certain model car. Thanks for your input...!!

not a black & white

And to prove it's not a black & white photo:

cheese-eee. .. .

Considering how BMW defends it's marque, I'm surprised these thing even exist; their lawyers are probably busy at work even as we speak.

But personally, I don't understand the mindset behind "debadging" your BMW. Why not just but a VW emblem over it?

Or, if you really want to make a statement, why not just "shave" it off completely?
