Hello all. Recently decided to join the MOA after purchasing my second BMW, figured I might as well. I've got a 2001 R1150GS that I really like, and I recently bought a 1972 R75/5 with the toaster tank, a bike I've wanted since I first saw one. Mechanically it's in great shape, but cosmetically I have some restoration work to do. I previously owned an r NineT Racer as well. I guess I can't get enough of the boxers. Although I am probably younger than many BMW enthusiasts and MOA members (I'm 37) I really dig the old airheads, and vintage bikes in general. I also have a 1973 Harley Super Glide chopper, but at heart I'm a "BMW guy." Looking forward to learning from the collection of great knowledge and experience about these bikes that exists in the MOA.

Hallo ancho in the PNW from the N-AL Tennessee River valley.

I've been an Airhead fan since I got my R90S back in '75; certainly welcome a new, younger Airhead-Boxer enthusiast into the MOA! Mdm Karen has two Airheads and volunteered to become the Alabama Airmarshal. [ https://www.airheads.org ]

Maybe you'll find the time, money & initiative to come to the 52nd MOA Rally next June in Tennessee {guess U missed the Redmond, OR get-together}... The Airheads know how to put on a good show at every national rally!

Ride your Motorrad machines with enthusiasm when the opportunity arises!
Happy Trails whenever U can!
