So I bought a 2002 R1150GS with a set of lightly used Progressive 465/435s that are too high for my taste (adventure height?). Any ideas on how to swap over to stock size shocks without losing too much money?

Because shocks are a common upgrade used low mileage OEM shocks come up for sale often in the various flea markets here, on ADVRider, IBMWR etc. That is probably the cheapest option to get it back to stock height.
