Adventure Riding in Northern Illinois?

I have a 1250 GS and just did the off-road training at the BMW performance center in South Carolina. I'm eager to take my bike off-road for some adventure riding. Does anyone happen to know of trails in or near northern Illinois? Many Google searches were pretty fruitless. Thank you.

You might join the Chicago Region BMW Owners Association Club or attend a meeting or ride and meet some members. We have a number of off road riders and I'm sure they can give you some areas to ride in Northern Illinois. www.crbmw.com

The only place I know in N. Illinois is Cliffs Insane park which likely isn't what you're looking for.

I just finished the 2 day course a few weeks ago. I’d like start down the off-road/adventure path as well.

Illinois is brutally boring.
