Adjustable clutch lever 2016 SXR

I want to replace the OEM clutch lever with an adjustable lever. Has anyone done this and do you have recommendations for a replacement?

You might want to check some XR forums as this can be a bit fiddly. You have to watch the microswitches at the lever or you might end up with quick shifter and/or cruise control issues. I have not fitted aftermarket levers to my gen 1 and the gen 2 came with an adjustable clutch lever so I have no direct experience with it - just what I have read on other XR forums.

Thanks so much for the info. I won’t be replacing the lever myself but I will inform the mechanic of the process. I wonder if this also applies to Gen 1?

If I recall correctly, most of the reports regarding microswitch issues on clutch lever replacement were on gen 1's simply because the gen 1 doesn't come with an adjustable clutch lever and a lot of people want one (plus the bike has been out a lot longer and more people have had a chance to fiddle with it). Gen 2 comes with an adjustable lever as stock so there are probably a lot less people switching them on gen 2s. Mine on my gen 1 never bothered me enough to change it, but I do prefer the lever on my gen 2 since I like it a bit closer to the bars than the stock gen 1 lever.

Thanks for the response. I’m taking it as confirmation on wanting to switch levers to get a bit closer. I’ll definitely hire someone as I’m not into those types of mechanical nuances.
