I would say yes if you have been “topping off” the brake fluid during regular maintenance. As pads wear, pistons extend and lower fluid in a master cylinder. Topping off takes up the space so a push-back of the pistons can displace the now excess brake fluid.After replacing front brake pads I see brake fluid coming from the vent hose. Is this normal after pushing the caliper pistons back to make room for the new pads?
