Checking out a bike tomorrow that has less than 5000 miles on it. Side cases, BMW windshield, custom leather seats, great shape. Owner wants $6000 . . . would love to hear a few opinions about price.

Also - I love my K75 -- just wondering if the 95 with ABS has a gear indicator ??

Thanks much!

The price seems high regardless of the low mileage, and you will need to replace the 14 year old tires. I paid just over 1/2 of that price 2 years ago for a 95 R1100R with BMW hard cases, a luggage rack and BMW windshield. Though with 38,000 it had many more miles.
regards,
Mark

I paid 3000 for a 97 850R with BMW hard side bags,Givi rack and top box,and a parabellum scout fairing.Bike had 65000 on it at the time of purchase.

and unlike a K bike, you really don't need a gear indicator on a big twin. motor will speak to you quite clearly, and let you know if you'er in the correct gear or not.

yeah, the price is high. did anyone mention that those are kinda of ugly bikes, even by BMW standards :stick ?

Yup, mine is so ugly that I can park it, leave the key in the ignition, and it will be there when I return. I love that.

Hello. Yup, $6k is definitely high no matter what the condition. I believe Blue Book is about $4500. I have a '95 for sale or trade. Check it out in the flea market. No gear indicator either but you'll get used to not having one PDQ. Good day.
