Hi all, I'm removing my wheels to get new tires installed and I was wondering what this little bracket is for in front of the rear wheel?

Welcome to the forum! What's on the other end of that bracket? How is it attached to the bike? In looking through the fiche, I can't see where something like that is included. Almost thinking that it was added by the previous owner.

I use it for the vent line that runs from under the left front of the gas tank. I use about a three foot length of tubing that fits over the venting tube on the tank to thru the hole in that bracket. It looks like you have another vent tube to the right of that bracket in your pictures.Where do others vent their tank to? My bike is an 1985 r80rt.
