The new R1250 GSA has landed! I picked it up in Pennsylvania and rode it back to Minnesota in 2 days…..longest 2 day ride for me as I have been primarily a sport-bike rider. I had a little neck soreness which should go away once i get everything adjusted. My current helmet is a bit heavy also. Anyway, I had 90 degree heat and a day of mostly rain. The GSA was comfortable, safe and flawless. I know I’m getting older because i love the Dynamic ESA, GPS Nav, the lighting, the storage and all the room on the bike (compared to my K1300S).

I put a top case on, MOSKO bags, Garmin Zumo XT (vs the glitchy BMW Nav), Denali D4’s and T3’s and Weisertechnik’s fantastic LED turn signals front and rear. The CoolCovers out of the UK are excellent seat covers and eliminate hotspots.

I’m happy i got mine when i did. Many of the new bikes are shipping without dynamic ESA or LED lighting. (Supply Chain at BMW)

My K1300S Motorsports is the best looking, best all-around bike I have ever owned and I love the sound of the smooth, big block inline 4 through the Akropovic pipe…….but i already know the GSA is a far better traveling companion.

Heading off on adventure. Thanks all.
