2016 RT electrical problem

Maybe the ECU is completely waterproof but I'm guessing there's a lot of things on the bike that can not take being under water for two days.

For what it is worth, the LJetronic ECUs on classic K75 and K100 bikes are not waterproof. I had one get wet once. I swapped in a spare, and after about a year with it sitting on a shelf I reinstalled the previously wet one and it worked fine.

8 hours of very heavy rain while riding back from Grand Canyon and my self locking switch went bonkers, would continually lock then unlock everything, after things dried out worked fine. Mentioned it to dealer they replace right switch
A bike submerged should be declared a total and only sold with a salvage title, lots of unscrupulous people are selling cars, motorcycles and airplanes that were hit by recent flooding from events in Texas and Florida
I personally would not buy anything from a gulf coast state if there was any chance it was flooded

What happens if it’s the OP’s bike......He really likes it.......There is no insurance......He just wants to get back on it and ride.
He already got it running. Back in my enduro days, “swamping” a bike was common- to the point of hydro-lock. Take the plug out, turn the bike upside down, pump it out, check the oil and finish the race.

I doubt your enduro bike had can bus at all and as much electronics as a 2016 RT.

And the OP's bike didn't come to a hydro-lock halt while running....Sorta evens things up :)
With any luck he will show back up and-

I didn't see where he wanted to sell the bike :dunno
Seemed like something goofy went on and he wanted to get it back running.....which he has. I'm pretty sure with a bit more messing around and riding the codes will disappear.

I agree with Omega Man, I'd certainly try, first. Dry-clean-see what happens. Can't hurt.
