Hi guys, I have one of those Can-bus battery charger and tender -Optimate4- and would like to know if it is no problem to charge the lithium battery on my bike.
Thank you in advance for your input.

I don't know "fer sure", but the instructions say FOR 12V LEAD-ACID BATTERIES and also DO NOT USE FOR NiCd, NiMH, Li-Ion OR NON-RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES.
I'd call that a "No".

You do receive extra credit if you had figured out how to use the Optimate through the BMW accessory port. :wave

I will add a bit to the title for clarity.

Err take a gander at the Antigravity Restart line of batteries. Built-in BMS, so they should work with any standard rectifier/regulator that puts out a sufficient charging voltage. One's been in my Versys 650 for at least 5 years now.

I have an Antigravity lithium in my bike and bought the Lithium CTEK charger as well. In my experience with marine batteries, I found that the proper chargers make the batteries last longer... YMMV
