Just pulled the trigger on a 2016 BMW R 1200 GSA in red. It is loaded, and is being built right now. Ordered the bike with quick shift pro. I figured I might as well go big, or go home.

I should be able to pick it up at the end of September. Cant wait! I am a long time rider (street bikes, enduro's, and dirt bikes), but this is my first big adventure bike. Any suggestions for me? Things I should be aware of? I have been searching through the forums and have been finding a lot of good info. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum! Red and Loaded...what more do you need! Show us a picture or two when you get the bike.

That is one nice bike. I have a R1200R with heated grips. They area truly great on early morning rides. Having "hot hands" tends to help keep the entire upper body warm.
