2016 1/2 R1200GS Question

Based on the reflectors on the front forks of my GS, I believe I have a 2016 1/2 year model. The build date is 4/28/16.

My question is, does this have the transmission upgrades seen on the 2017 model years? I've read that it does, and doesn't, but would like to know for sure.

Short of tearing it down, which isn't going to happen, is there some way to tell?
